About Fresher Foods

Fresher Foods Limited is a 100% New Zealand owned and operated family business.

Steven and Mary Wong started this business in 1979 under the name of S&M Wong when they saw an opportunity in the market to mass produce French Fries.

Subsequently, the business name changed to Fresher Foods Limited in 1983. Since then the company has flourished to a medium sized enterprise. In 1996, Fresher Foods Limited moved to its current premises.

The company has remained privately owned and is independent of all multinational operations. This has meant that Fresher Foods Limited has the flexibility in its processes and is able to deal directly with key customers who may want to customise their orders.

Fresher Foods Limited has an onsite laboratory dedicated to providing quality and consistency and currently the company has a Food Safety Program which has achieved HACCP accreditation.

Fresher Foods Limited currently supplies a full range of Frozen and Chilled French Fries, in addition to potato crisps to the Food Service Industry throughout New Zealand, South Pacific, Australia and South East Asia.
